There is a separate building that acts as the energy source for the College. It houses a HT Transformer with a capacity of 800 kVA (11 kV/400V) exclusively for the campus. There is also an alternative power backup system with a Diesel Generator with a capacity of 250 kVA.

Stationery and Xerox Facility

There is a Xerox and printing & binding facility on campus for the student and staff needs. The facility also doubles up as a stationery store for students and staff.

Elevators

The college has 4 elevators, three in the southern wing and one in the western wing. These elevators service the five floors of the building starting from the ground floor.

Fire Safety System

The College building is a multi-storeyed building (MSB) and as per the rules prescribed, is home to an elaborate network of pipes and downcomer systems for fire safety. There are numerous and appropriate fire extinguishers placed in each floor in the corridors, laboratories and library. There are also fire alarms across the building.

A fire safety drill is conducted now and then to familiarise studnets and Faculty members with escape routes and fire-fighting equipment usage.
