Planning and Evaluation Committee
The Planning and Evaluation Committee meets and decides on various academic matters as also matters such as the college calendar, student grievances and funds allocation for the departments.
The committee is constituted by the Secretary, Principal and the Heads of all Departments.
Examinations Committee
This committee is responsible for the overall conduct of examinations. The committee also designs the seating and invigilation arrangements during examinations. There are periodical review meetings held to discuss and implement innovations in the examination process.

Admissions Committee
The Admissions Committee is responsible for the entire admissions process every year. The committee scrutinizes every application and attached documents that are processed in every departments for admission. The committee is currently constituted by:
Academic Audit Committee
This committee organizes the yearly auditing of the academic activities of the Departments and academic performance of students. The committee's members currently are:
Research Coordination Committee
The committee was started in June 2004 and it coordinates the research activities of the Meenakshi Sundararajan Research Center which was founded in Dec 2004. On the basis of the initiatives of the committee, the Department of Physics was sanctioned a major research project by the Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS). The committee has also facilitated the sanction of a major research project for the Department of Commerce, as also six minor research projects for various departments. In addition, it has also motivated the staff to organize seminars, on the topics of research potential.
The research and development activities of the institution have been formalized by the Research Coordination Committee. The committee consists of the following members:
Extra-curricular Activities Committee This committee identifies talented students and guides the College Union in the conduct of cultural competitions and other activities.
Grievance Appeal Committee
There is a fair and expeditious redressal mechanism at all levels of the institution’s functioning. The class representatives bring the students’ complaints to the notice of the College Union. They in turn pass them on to the Head of the Department, or the Head of the Institution. Students’ problems are discussed in the counseling hour every week and required steps to redress the grievances are discussed and taken in the College Council meetings. Not only faculty but also students have free access to the Head of the Institution and the administrative staff. The grievances are minimal and a few that occur are taken care of at the earliest.

Student Welfare Committee
The committee looks into students' problems and helps and guide students to arrive at a solution. The committee arranges scholarships, both from the government and from private organizations, for students who are needy. The committee also considers special requests for financial aid for students. Student Discipline Committee
This committee is responsible for handling cases of malpractice in examinations. The committee conducts an investigation into the malpractice reported and takes suitable action as per the rules of the college. The Committee also conducts regular meetings with the students to guide them to abstain from indulging in malpractice.

Placement Committee
This committee, constituted by faculty members from the Arts, Science and Commerce, coordinates all placement activities on campus. Contacting companies to visit the college for recruitment, identifying the students fulfilling the eligibility criteria for each company and seeing them through the recruitment process are all responsibilities of this committee. The committee's members are:
Library Committee
The Library Committee is responsible for allocating library funds for various departments, overseeing the functioning and maintenance of the library and for bringing in innovations for effective functioning of the library. The committee restricts itself to general policy and not with specific applications. It coordinates with the Heads of Departments and the Librarian and ensures cooperation in improving the standard of the library.

Anti-ragging Committee
The Anti-ragging Committee and Anti-ragging Squad were set up in accordance with the Supreme Court directive. However, there has never been any incidence of ragging in the college. The Anti-ragging Committee is constituted by:

Staff Welfare Committee
The Staff Welfare Committee, headed by the committee's secretary, meets periodically to review and address any specific needs of the staff. The Committee also organizes luncheons on special occasions for all staff to get together and organizes the contribution of a purse for staff to celebrate their or their children's marriages and other important personal events. This committee oversees campus cleanliness and looks into housekeeping issues in the college campus. The committee is constituted by:
