Introduction
The Hindi Department
of
Meenakshi Collegefor Women, consisting of the Pre-University and first year B.A./B.Sc classes was
started in the year 1976-1977 with Dr. Prema Padmanabhan as Assistant Professor
and Head of Department. After her retirement in the year 2000, Dr. Mrs. Usha Venkataraman
was appointed and Dr. Mrs. G. Shanthi Reddy had been redeployed from W.C.C from
2003 to 2006 August. Later on Miss. M.V. Vinthy has been appointed as a Lecturer.
