The Post Graduate
department of Biochemistry was started in the year 1995 and was given autonomy in
the year 1999. The present sanctioned strength is 26. The department aims to give
the students a thorough theoretical and practical insight into the various areas
of Biochemistry and to stimulate their interest which will enable them to face the
world of work and life in a challenging way.
